Discussion: The warm pattern is easing SLOWLY. Storm track is roped across the Mediterranean Sea. To the north, the pattern is dry.
Week-3 Ahead Forecast valid December 28, 2025-January 4, 2026: Turning colder but without snow.
Discussion: Upper trough maintains the Mediterranean Sea storm track. North of the storm track, colder east wind from Russia develops. However, dry pattern prevents any snow gain.
Week-4 Ahead Forecast valid January 4-11, 2026: Normally chilly. Northwest Russia is milder.
Discussion: The southern latitude storm track is unchanged while most of Europe is dry. ECM indicates Northwest Russia turns milder again.
