Tropical Storm Trevor Intensifies, Strikes Australia

Discussion: Tropical Storm Trevor is just off the far northeast coast of Australia. The 5-day outlook indicates Trevor strengthens to a category 1 tropical cyclone today, moves inland tomorrow and re-emerges as a category 1 tropical cyclone later this week off the north coast of Australia. Trever moves inland in 5 days as a category 2 tropical cyclone. The day 1-5 rainfall forecast indicates excessive rains just off the north coast of Australia expanding southward across northern Australia in the 6-10 day period as Trevor weakens after moving inland.
